The Super Regional round of the NCAA Baseball Championship began Friday, with only one team — North Carolina — representing the Atlantic Coast Conference and the Bold North State.

This year marks the ACC’s smallest presence in the Super Regionals since the NCAA expanded its postseason baseball bracket to 64 teams and adopted the best-of-three Super Regional format in 1999.

The Tar Heels (48-11-1), the #5 national seed, are hosting USC (47-16) at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill. Carolina, which went 3-0 in last week’s regional round, was 31-6-1 at home this season entering its opener against the Trojans.

Six other Super Regionals also feature at least one national seed. The lone exception pairs Little Rock, which won last week’s Hattiesburg Regional as a #4 seed, and Troy, which captured the Tallahassee Regional as a #3 seed.

The complete Super Regional schedules are below and are being updated regularly with results, game times and TV/streaming options.

The eight winners will advance to the College World Series.
