Brothers Casey and Connor Barth, two of the greatest placekickers ever produced by the state of North Carolina, will host the 2025 edition of their annual, all-ages kicking camp July 17 at Hoggard High School in Wilmington.

As always, admission is free.

“Our parents had to spend a lot of money taking us to camps when we were growing up, so this is just one way we can give back to our community every year,” said Connor Barth, who was a first-team All-ACC player at UNC before his decade-long career in the National Football League. “It’s a great blend of learning about kicking but also bringing together a lot of amazing people and just having a lot of fun.”

In addition to the Barth brothers, the camp’s instructors and special guests each year include other kickers from the NFL, college and high school football ranks.

The event also includes kicking demonstrations from the Barth brothers (and others), fun competitions (by age group) for camp attendees, warm-up, training and mental-preparation instruction, a question-and-answer session, and a free t-shirt for each participant.

“Anyone who wants to learn how to kick or wants to improve their kicking is invited, and our #1 goal is always to have fun,” Casey Barth said. “This is not designed to be some kind of grind or a football bootcamp. It’s Wilmington, in the middle of July, so it’s probably going to be hot, but that won’t stop the fun.”

This year’s “Kicking It With The Barth Brothers” celebration will run from 5:30-8 p.m. at Scott Braswell Stadium (4305 Shipyard Blvd.), next to Hoggard High School in Wilmington. Participants are encouraged to bring a football and kicking tee, if possible, but pre-registration for the event is not required.

Casey and Connor Barth are the two most prolific field goal kickers in UNC football history, with 66 and 54 successful three-point conversions, respectively.

Anyone with questions about this year’s event is encouraged to contact Tom Barth at 910-231-1181 or stbarth1@earthlink.net.
