How To Watch:
Carolina Panthers Preseason Games (2024)

Carolina Panthers fans who want an early look at the team under new head coach Dave Canales in actual game action have two television alternatives and a streaming option tonight for the first of the squad’s three preseason contests.

Here’s the Panthers’ 2024 preseason schedule:

Date, Time, Opponent, TV/Streaming Options
Aug. 8, 7 pm, at Patriots, NFL Network/Panthers TV Network/Panthers.com
Aug. 17, 7 pm, Jets, Panthers TV Network/Panthers.com
Aug. 24, 1 pm, at Bills, Panthers TV Network/Panthers.com

As indicated, one option is to watch the Panthers-Patriots game via the national broadcast on the NFL Network. (All three Carolina preseason games last year were televised nationally, but only the New England game fits that description this year.) However, depending on your location and provider, the national broadcast may be blacked out in your area.

The other preseason television option is to watch the games via their regional broadcasts on the Panthers Television Network, a collection of local TV stations spread across North Carolina, South Carolina and parts of Georgia and Virginia.

The regional broadcasts will have Anish Shroff (the team’s radio voice) handling play-by-play duties, with Panthers legend Steve Smith handling color commentary and Carla Gebhart as the sideline reporter.

Here’s a list of Panthers Television Network stations whose reach is entirely or partly in North Carolina:
