NC Pork Council To Be Celebrated
Along With Three Legendary Inductees

The North Carolina Bar-B-Q Hall of Fame will celebrate the North Carolina Pork Council and three 2025 inductees at a special event May 31 at the Alliance Convention Center in Burlington.

Members of the general public can purchase tickets to this history-making celebration through this link at the Hall of Fame’s official website, NCBBQHOF.COM.

Tickets cost only $30 each, and ticket proceeds will support United Carolinas Calvary as part of the ongoing relief effort in the North Carolina mountains after the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene.

B’s Barbecue (opened in 1977), Red Bridges Barbecue Lodge (1946) and Wilber’s Barbecue (1962) have been serving high-quality Bar-B-Q to North Carolina communities for multiple generations.

The North Carolina Pork Council, now under the leadership of CEO Roy Lee Lindsey, is the respected voice of the state’s highly productive pork industry, which supports more than 44,000 jobs and has an economic impact of more than $10 billion in the Old North State.

The ticket cost includes the Hall of Fame ceremony, a Bar-B-Q dinner showcasing members of the Class of 2025, a meet-and-greet event with Miss North Carolina USA Kenzie Hansley, and other special guests.

An additional ticket can be purchased for the Josh Turner concert that will follow the ceremony. A long-time country music performer, Turner is known for hits such as Long Black Train, Why Don’t We Just Dance and Your Man.

Van Denton of FOX8 WGHP, a television station located in the Piedmont Triad region, will serve as the evening’s master of ceremonies.
